RestAgain Review | 1 Week Test, Did It Make Me Sleep Better?

If we asked you to name one thing you want more of, what would you choose? More money? More time? More freedom? How about more sleep? Over 60% of adults around the world say they don’t sleep as well as they’d like (me included). Many opt for OTC sleep aids or natural sleep supplements to fix their sleeping issues. However, the quality and efficacy of most sleep aids are rather bad. So today, in this RestAgain review, we are going to look at one of the most promising sleep aids supplements.

Statistics aside, we’re going to take a look at a supplement that aims to get you out of that 60 percent. Proper rest and sleep is primordial for your mood, cognitive performance, and overall health.

We all know that our body repairs itself while sleeping, and without it, we simply cannot survive.

Coming back to Rest Again, this is a natural sleep aid that seeks to help you:

  • Get to sleep quicker
  • Stay asleep longer
  • Sleep deeper
  • Reduce stress and anxiety

But how efficient is Restagain, and how does it compare to the best sleep aid supplements on the market? Is this the remedy you’ve been looking for, or just another pill?

Hitting the snooze? Here are LatestFuels quick takeaways:

  • RestAgain is a supplement that aims to help you fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up rested.
  • Their formula is all-natural and contains only 11 ingredients, none of which are habit-forming.
  • While newer, it’s been well-received on Amazon
  • I personally found that it helped me fall asleep faster and had a better rest, in my one-week trial.

Here at Latestfuels, we strongly recommend Restagain for those that are having issues falling sleep.

RestAgain Review at a Glance

Opinion

My sleep has been atrocious as of late.

I stay up too late, wake up too early, takes me forever to get to sleep, and I’m awoken far too easily. Sound familiar?

I get about 6hrs per night, and oftentimes, it’s not a very restful 6hrs. I had some gummies that I really liked in the past, and that worked but the company sadly closed its doors. So this wasn’t my first dive into sleeping aids.

On top of that, it doesn’t help that I own a Withings Sleep Mat that tracks my sleep, breathing and interruptions. It’s one thing to know you’re sleeping poorly, it’s another to have some stupid app nagging and quantifying how poor it is.

Needless to say, I hope this works…. I NEED this to work!

Ingredients Overview

Restagain supplement facts

Melatonin (10mg)

Without a doubt, this is the most important supplement in any sleeping aid. Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone that plays a pivotal role in regulating the sleep-wake cycle. Its supplementation has been associated with improved sleep initiation and maintenance, particularly for individuals with sleep disorders or disturbances.

Melatonin helps synchronize circadian rhythms, promoting a more consistent sleep pattern. Research shows its efficacy in reducing time to fall asleep and increasing total sleep time, making it a widely recognized sleep aid. (Tordjman et al., 2017)

RestAgain contains 10 mg of melatonin per serving, the optimal dose to promote deep and restful sleep.

Vitamin D (15mcg)

The deficiency of vitamin Dhas been linked to sleep disorders, and supplementation may contribute to better sleep quality. Adequate vitamin D levels have been associated with improved sleep duration and reduced risk of sleep disturbances.

Vitamin D is thought to modulate sleep-related neurotransmitters and influence the sleep-wake cycle through its impact on the brain regions responsible for sleep regulation. (Gominak and Stumpf, 2012)

Thankfully, RestAgain provides 15 mcg (equivalent to 600 IU) of vitamin D per serving, contributing to mood enhancement, nutrient absorption, and overall sleep improvement.

Vitamin B6 (1mg)

Another of the B group vitamins, B6, also known as pyridoxine, is a coenzyme involved in the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that contributes to mood and sleep regulation.

Adequate serotonin levels can promote relaxation and a sense of well-being, which are conducive to better sleep. Vitamin B6 supplementation may indirectly benefit sleep by supporting optimal serotonin synthesis. (Birdsall, 1998)

Vitamin B12 (3.7mcg)

B12, on the other hand, is crucial for maintaining proper nerve function and plays a role in the synthesis of neurotransmitters, including those involved in sleep regulation.

While evidence specifically linking vitamin B12 to sleep improvement is limited, its role in nervous system health suggests a potential indirect benefit for sleep quality. (McCarty et al., 2012)

So, RestAgain provides 3.7 mcg of vitamin B12 per serving, surpassing the minimum daily dosage required to enhance sleep quality.

Ashwagandha (300mg)

Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb, has been traditionally used as brain supplement to reduce stress and anxiety. By mitigating stress and promoting a calm state, ashwagandha may indirectly aid sleep by reducing factors that can interfere with sleep initiation.

Studies have reported improvements in stress-related parameters and sleep quality with ashwagandha supplementation. (Chandrasekhar et al., 2012)

5-HTP (100mg)

5-HTP is a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter that influences mood and sleep. It’s suggested that 5-HTP supplementation may lead to increased serotonin levels, potentially enhancing relaxation and supporting better sleep.

However, more research is needed to fully understand its impact on sleep quality and regulation. (Birdsall, 1998)

GABA (300mg)

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is an inhibitory neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation and reduces neuronal excitability. GABA inhibits certain neurological receptors, promoting calmness and reducing anxiety and stress.

While the evidence is mixed, some studies suggest that GABA supplementation might enhance sleep by reducing anxiety and promoting a state of calmness. (Abdou et al., 2006)

L-Theanine (250mg)

L-Theanine, found in tea leaves, has been shown to have relaxing effects and promote alpha brainwave activity associated with wakeful relaxation.

It can counteract the stimulating effects of caffeine (jitters) and reduce stress, potentially leading to improved sleep quality. L-Theanine’s impact on sleep may be attributed to its ability to induce relaxation without sedation. (Kimura et al., 2007)

Valerian Root (300mg)

Valerian root has a long history as a herbal remedy for sleep disorders and anxiety. While its mechanism of action isn’t fully understood, valerian compounds are thought to interact with GABA receptors, promoting sedation and relaxation.

Clinical trials have reported improvements in subjective sleep quality with valerian supplementation, although more robust studies are needed. (Bent et al., 2006)

Magnesium (225mg)

Magnesium is involved in numerous physiological processes, including muscle relaxation and neurotransmitter regulation. It may have a positive impact on sleep quality by promoting relaxation and reducing muscle tension.

Some studies suggest that magnesium supplementation can improve sleep efficiency and sleep time in individuals with low magnesium levels. (Abbasi et al., 2012)

Calcium (100mg)

Calcium’s role in sleep is not as well-established as other nutrients on this list. Some research suggests that calcium may influence sleep regulation by participating in the synthesis of neurotransmitters. Additionally, calcium-rich foods like dairy products have been associated with improved sleep quality. However, more studies are needed to determine the direct link between calcium supplementation and sleep benefits. (Grandner et al., 2016)

1 Week Test

I actually track my sleep (or lack thereof) pretty closely and can share the results of me taking RestAgain for a week. The serving sizes are modular and can be up to 3 pills per day.

Restagain Benefits

My plan was to take one pill for a couple of nights, then two pills, and finally all three pills.

Nights 1 & 2 – One Pill Taken

The first night was the best night by far with a noticeable increase in sleep quality, and sleep amount. Night 2 was not quite as good, but still better than before I started RestAgain.

Nights 3 & 4 – Two Pills Taken

These nights were not as good as the first two, however, I believe I am to blame for that. I stayed up late and did not do well in the lead-up to sleep. One important lesson is not to fall into the mindset that you can do whatever you want because you have the pills. It does not work that way.

Nights 5-7 – Three Pills Taken

I tried to get back on the ball here, winding down earlier and not staying up late. This equated to more restful nights of sleep.

One Week Summary

Take a look at these charts to get an idea of how the week went as a whole. August 7th to 13th was the week before I started. August 14th to 20th (labeled as last week), was the week I took RestAgain.

I believe that if I keep taking RestAgain and build up a better routine to fall sleep, I will end up having longer and more restful nights.

The Comprehensive Benefits of RestAgain

RestAgain’s unique formulation sets it apart from other sleep supplements on the market. By combining these carefully selected ingredients in optimal doses, RestAgain not only improves sleep quality but also provides a wide range of additional health benefits.

However, as I stated in the previous section, RestAgain is no miracle pill. It works best when you take sleep seriously and set up a routine around falling sleep. This is no prescription sleep aid with drugs that knock you out for hours, but a natural remedy.

That said, let’s explore the comprehensive benefits of RestAgain:

Improved Sleep Quality

The combination of melatonin, vitamins, herbs, and minerals in RestAgain ensures a more restful and rejuvenating sleep experience. Users have reported falling asleep faster, staying asleep longer, and waking up feeling refreshed and revitalized.

That was one of the main benefits I noticed while trying RestAgain.

Reduced Stress and Anxiety

RestAgain’s blend of ashwagandha, GABA, and valerian root helps to reduce stress and anxiety, promoting a calm and relaxed state conducive to better sleep. These natural ingredients work synergistically to soothe the mind and create a sense of tranquility.

The calmness paired with a low light helped me falling sleep faster.

Enhanced Relaxation and Mood

The inclusion of 5-HTP, L-Theanine, and vitamin B6 in RestAgain contributes to enhanced relaxation, improved mood, and a sense of overall well-being. These ingredients promote the production of neurotransmitters that regulate mood and promote feelings of happiness and relaxation.

This will be very personal, and not everyone will feel this benefit.

RestAgain Side Effects

Unlike other sleeping aids or even prescription sleeping drugs, RestAgain does not have any major side effects.

It won’t make you dull the day after, nor dizzy when you consume it.

That said, some users could have a negative reaction to Ashwagandha, which could even increase their anxiety levels.

On very rare occasions, RestAgain could cause some nausea and dehydration due to the magnesium content.

Is RestAgain Worth It?

Having to spend $2 every night to go to sleep might seem expensive to some. For others, it will be a just price considering how essential a good night of sleep is.

However, when I compare RestAgain to other sleeping aids in the market that I have tested (Relaxium, Noocube Sleep), RestAgain is rather affordable.

I say so because, it’s effective unlike many competitors (so I don’t end up throwing money away), and the rest I get has no price.

So yes, RestAgain is worth it.

Customers RestAgain Reviews So Far

While RestAgain is a relatively new sleep supplement, customer reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. Users have praised its ability to promote relaxation, facilitate falling asleep and staying asleep, and ensure a refreshed waking experience.

The lack of reported side effects has also been a popular aspect of RestAgain, making it a safer alternative to prescription sleep aids.

RestAgain FAQ

What makes RestAgain different from other sleep aids?

Some sleeping medications can be aggressive, forcing the user to sleep instead of gently bringing them to a restful state that they can finally relax enough to rest. Other supplements might serve this purpose as well, but their ingredients aren’t as potent. RestAgain finds a way to balance between potent ingredients and gentle relaxation to make every night easier to get through.

Are there any side effects?

To date, no side effects have been reported. However, consumers who have a medical condition might want to speak with their doctor first.

Is RestAgain addictive?

No. RestAgain only contains natural and non-addictive ingredients.

Can I get my money back if I don’t like it?

The money-back guarantee allows consumers to return the formula within 30 days if regular use doesn’t give them the results that they hoped for. The customer service team will then provide a refund.

Verdict – RestAgain Review, Finally A Sleep Supplement that Works

So….what did I learn during this one week test and the RestAgain Review?

I learned that it will take much more than a product, even a good one, to fix my sleeping issues. However, RestAgain does help….when it is allowed to help.

What does that mean? A good night’s rest starts well before getting in bed. Allowing for wind down, minimizing distractions, making sure your environment is a place for rest is all important too…and things I need to work on.

When RestAgain worked, it was very noticeable. I didn’t sleep longer, but I did stay asleep throughout the night, and awoke feeling like I had a good night’s sleep. I was hoping that it would make me fall asleep faster, but that didn’t really happen for me.

Be that as it may, I still have yet to put it all together and establish a routine, but I’d call this trial a win.

Furthermore, it needs to be said that RestAgain is extremely affordable when you buy in bulk, making it a real bargain.

Bottom line – Once you have taken steps toward better sleep, RestAgain can surely help.
